Opportunity
We’re looking for a dedicated full-time Cleaner & Organizer to join our team on-site. In this role, you’ll play a crucial part in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our property, including the kennel, offices, bathrooms, dining areas, and various storage spaces. Your organizational skills will be essential for managing and sorting large quantities of supplies, donations, and other materials, ensuring all spaces are clean, tidy, and functional. This fast-paced position requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work on your feet throughout the day.
About Dog Tales Rescue & Sanctuary
Dog Tales is a world-renowned dog rescue and horse sanctuary set on an incredible 50 acres of green fields, rolling hills, and wooded areas in King City, Ontario. Our picturesque location – complete with kilometers of walking trails, therapy pools, and a grooming spa – is the perfect setting for abused and neglected animals to heal and be rehabilitated while they wait for forever homes. Along with medical care, our team provides all of the love, attention, and training that our rescue animals need to recover from their difficult pasts, so that they can move on to permanent, loving homes, which most do. For the rest, Dog Tales is home for as long as they need it to be.

The Role
As a Cleaner & Organizer, you will be responsible for keeping our facility clean and well-organized. This includes maintaining high-traffic areas and ensuring that various parts of the sanctuary are organized and clutter-free. Your responsibilities will include:
Cleaning offices, bathrooms, dining areas, and other high-trafficked areas daily.
Organizing and tidying multiple areas, including storage spaces and donated items.
Assisting other departments as needed to maintain the overall cleanliness and functionality of the property.
Sorting and managing various supplies and materials, ensuring spaces are clean and accessible.

2+ years of professional cleaning experience.
1+ year of experience in a professional organization.
Keen attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule
5 days a week, 7 am – 4 pm including weekends
Please note, this position is onsite. Additionally, reliable access to a car is necessary as there is no public transit near our facility.
