Jet & Jim

Male, 22 & 19 Years Old, Clydesdale

Jet is one of the duos we call "the twins". Jet is a teenage Clydesdale Gelding and is one of the bosses in his herd along with his buddy Jim. He has made a lot of progress since his arrival from the auction. He was very uncertain around people and did not like his legs being touched. He has a strange scar on one of his legs that may explain why the one of them is sensitive to touch. Jet has a skin condition on his lower legs that requires daily treatment. Through patience and perseverance, it is becoming easier to treat but he still has a long way to go. 

Jim is definitely the friendlier twin. He is also a teenage Clydesdale Gelding like his buddy Jet. Jim and Jet always catch the eye of visitors and we just can't believe they could have been sold to meat. Jim suffers from the same skin condition as Jet, it is common in heavily feathered breeds, thankfully Jim is much easier to treat. Due to his size, he can still be hard to handle but he doesn't have a mean bone in his body.
