Suzie

Susan is lovingly referred to as ‘One Eyed Sue' or just ‘Suzie'. She is a beautiful draft cross mare who is only about 6 years old. Suzie came to us with a very damaged left eye, she was very pushy and it was clear she had not received proper handling. Her eye seemed painful so the decision was made to remove what was left. When Suzie returned from surgery her herd rejected her! Luckily she made fast friends with another mare, Maggie, who is an oddball herself. Suzie is doing very well these days and her manners have greatly improved.
