Claude is a very excitable guy! He is looking for a family that can keep up with his needs, and in return he will be sure to make you happy with his fun energy! Mr Claude loves going for walks and getting lots of treats! His favourite thing in the whole world is playing with other dogs - big, small, young or old, Claude gets along with just about any dog!
Claude shows signs of separation anxiety which causes him to be vocal and destructive when left alone. In order for him to thrive in his future home he will need a family with experience with large breeds, behavioural challenges, and who is home often. He needs someone who will work with our trainers at Dog Tales to overcome his small obstacles.
Claude is an energetic boy with plenty of bounce in his step, but his enthusiasm led to a previous fracture in his right hind hock, which has since been surgically repaired. He’s healing well and is eager to put his best paw forward! Shortly after arriving, Claude was diagnosed with Leishmaniasis, a condition that requires daily medication and regular bloodwork.
