Meet the sweet and gentle Nellie! This loving girl was found as a stray and brought to our shelter, but unfortunately, she was never claimed. While she can be a bit shy at first, once her tail starts wagging, you’ll experience just how much love she has to give. Nellie is young, energetic, and ready to learn, so she’ll thrive with obedience training and some time spent working on her leash manners.

Nellie prefers to be the only dog, she can become nervous and defensive when meeting another dog. With the right home, we know Nellie will fully come into her own and reveal her true, affectionate personality. Nellie does have a food intolerance, but with a special diet, she’ll stay happy and healthy without the need for medication.
