Bella may appear larger in her photos, but we promise this little sweetheart is much smaller and infinitely cuter in person! This delicate soul has completely captured the hearts of our entire staff and volunteer team with her gentle spirit and loving nature.

Rescued from an overcrowded shelter after being found as a stray in dire condition, Bella's past tells a story of hardship. We suspect she was exploited for breeding and abandoned when her health deteriorated. Despite these challenges, her capacity for love remains boundless.

Her recovery journey is already well underway with regular medicated baths that have transformed her once-bare skin. What was previously patchy and bald has blossomed into a beautiful, soft white coat that's growing healthier by the day. Bella requires a special diet and treats to help with her skin sensitivities.

Bella is currently heartworm positive and will begin treatment soon. For her heartworm treatment to be successful, Bella needs a calm, nurturing home environment. During treatment time, it's crucial she remains relaxed and unstressed to ensure a smooth recovery. While she adores canine companions, she cannot live with high-energy dogs during her treatment period. A gentle, laid-back furry friend could be okay.
