Meet Layla, an energetic and sweet girl who is blossoming into the loving companion she was always meant to be. Despite her difficult and abusive past, Layla is learning to trust and open up to those who care for her. She loves going for long walks, receiving cuddles, and curling up for naps in her soft bed. When she first arrived, Layla was very head shy, but with patience and kindness, she now eagerly jumps up to be pet and loved. With time and trust, we are confident that Layla will become a loyal and devoted companion to her future family.

Layla especially enjoys chasing her toys and will happily play for hours. While she was not socialized with other dogs in her previous home, Layla is making progress and is learning to feel more comfortable around people. However, she can be reactive and will bark at other dogs, so she requires management and space around them. For this reason, she would do best in a home where she is the only dog. 

She has been spayed and will soon undergo a dental cleaning and small cyst removal to ensure she stays healthy and comfortable.
