Starleena came to us from another shelter where she had been overlooked for far too long. Since being transferred, this sweet girl has spent a few weeks in a foster home, and she’s truly thriving! Starleena is playful and enjoys her toys, as well as going for walks and car rides.
This loyal and affectionate girl forms strong bonds with her people and loves to follow them around wherever they go. She has impeccable leash manners and is a joy to walk. We are currently evaluating her with other dogs, and she’s shown friendliness toward them during walks.
Starleena would do best in a home with teens or adults, as she continues to work on her house training. She’ll need a family that is dedicated to helping her master her bathroom routine and ensure she succeeds in transitioning to outdoor potty habits.
Starleena has recently seen our veterinarian, where she received updated vaccines and routine bloodwork, and she has been given a clean bill of health!
